Announcing the 7.3.16 Release
The 7.3.16 maintenance release of Verivo's enterprise mobility platform includes important updates, improvements to documentation, and several bug fixes.
Specifically for iPad, the release incorporates updates to the handling of Choice List Popover Screens on iPad. Choice Lists in Popover Screens are now displayed as a Table View on iPads. The Table View displays list items efficiently in a familiar iPad list format. The Table View also allows for an increased number of choices to be displayed on-screen, making it easier for users to work with the list
On the Android platform, the 7.3.16 maintenance release offers improvements for Region controls in hosted Forms screens.
On the BlackBerry client, the release includes improvements on handling of blank lists and handling of primary key information on update transactions.
Additionally, an issue preventing synchronization of deleted items on BlackBerry 7.0 devices has been addressed.
Verivo’s AppServer component, the 7.3.16 maintenance release includes an update which removes a potential cross-site scripting vulnerability. Although this potential vulnerability was previously evaluated and deemed low-risk, the vulnerability has been removed altogether with this release.
Rounding out the software updates, the 7.3.16 maintenance release includes an update to Verivo’s AppStudio - addressing a previously reported issue related to adding a single application to be edited through permissions.
Lastly, the documentation for the platform has been updated to incorporate the following:
- Improved documentation for checkbox values
- Security recommendations within the Server Installation guide
- Instructions for Over-the-Air upgrades of application clients within the Upgrade documentation
The 7.3.16 maintenance release represents the latest update in our on-going commitment to helping our customers deliver engaging, fully-customized mobile apps on Verivo’s enterprise mobility platform.
